Mr. Morgan. Mr. President: I rise for the purpose of making known to the Senate the death of my colleague, Hon. George S. Houston, of Alabama, who died on the last day of the last year at his home in Athens, Alabama, in the midst of his family and his friends, honored and regretted by all the peo ple of that State. At some other time I shall ask the Senate to consider some resolutions commemorative of the virtues of my late colleague.
